Why many if not most of the great architectural visualizations out there always have these dark, gloomy skies and atmosphere even when they actually represent daytime? When working on actual projects, the clients usually outright reject such dark moods. Most of the time they prefer summer time, sunny skies and overall happiness. Also, placing whatever photos in the image usually don't work because you have to make the surroundings like pavements, roads etc. not by your whim, but exactly as they are in the project drawings or at least close to them. I don't get it. This type of workflow almost never happens to me because of the above mentioned reasons.

@P-lo_ol-9

HI, it's a very late reply but I'd just add a comment anyway if you were still wondering, and for everybody else who might be thinking the same thing. It's all about perspective. If you're working with any kind of design - architecture, archviz, 3D art etc - it can really help your eye to do so. Different tricks I have learned throughout the years, rotating an image or shape can bring out something new or help you find a focus in formfinding and when creating images. If you're working with a visualization try to zoom out or walk away from the monitor, look at something else and look again from a distance. Is something stealing focus from what you want to present? How are colors and highlights? View it in black and white is also an option. You can also try to almost close your eyes to watch things in a blurry way again to view highlights and main shapes and forms. It's all about trying to get new input and see things in a different light :)
