If I already created a table with columns and wanted to select only some of the columns from a csv, how would I do that?

So if your .csv file has more columns than your table, the easiest way I can think of is to read your .csv into pandas, and filter out the columns you don’t need (while you’re at it, you can also sort the columns in the order you need) and export to a new .csv file that you will then load. Literally, that should only be 4 lines of code: e.g. import pandas as pd df = pd.read_csv(my_file.csv) cols = [‘c1’,’c2’,’cn’] pd.to_csv(output_file.csv) And it’s the output file that you end up loading.
