I have used the very same charger, also with no problem! I was so impressed that I signed up for a Francis account. I haven't forgotten about you and the possible Texas Electric Car rebate. I think that they have found the "error of my ways." The only notification I have was received was to inform me that all the allocations had been allotted. Now, I'm just waiting for my Federal return to be filed to receive my tax credit. That one, I'm pretty certain that am eligible to receive! Happy Bolting!

I think I'm going to sign up for one as well. We drive by those chargers all the time and I always would say, I wonder if they're any good?🤔 And they actually were. Glad that they're there. Happy Bolting to you as well!

I meant to ask you, with the Equinox EV and the new Bolt EUV coming this year and next year, do you see yourself upgrading to one of those vehicles for the extended range and faster charging? 🤔

@@Big_Raf_TV Raf. At this point in time, I don't see a need for upgrading. My 2023 as it currently serves my needs both in size and range very well. While faster charging times would be nice, the amount of distance traveling I do isn't worth the upgrading. My vehicle is used for those short trips around town. A long trip for me is a drive to your location to get a haircut and at my age; even that is becoming less and less of a necessity! Come 2025 I might consider the new Bolt. We'll just have to see. In the meantime, I have included a link to a KZitem video that perhaps you have already seen concerning charging etiquette. I would be interested in your opinion. For me, I haven't had any problem at charging stations, but then I stay with my car and just listen to my Audiobooks. Still, I thought the video brought up some interesting concerns! Take care! kzitem.info/news/bejne/pWaaq55-bXd3YJwsi=bNAp9cuHjtoRQtr2

@@Buick4me I'm thinking about the Equinox as of right now, but like you said, it goes back to me not truly needing the range. I'd like the faster charging though. As it relates to the charging edicate, I couldn't imagine unplugging someone's car to plug mine in. I wouldn't touch another EV for that reason.

thanks for this video. I was wondering about these francis chargers. I'm about to take a trip through Oklahoma with my Tesla and was curious about the local charging infrastructure. Did you need an account to start charging?

Yeah I did, but it was a fairly quick and easy process. Took maybe two minutes max and I was charging.

@@Big_Raf_TV we're paying anything up to .80c/kw in Sydney at charge stations. At home I pay .44c/kw

@@JBSbass Wow, .80c is a lot! But still not as bad as gas though.
