Great video Brian your going through the process of youtube! my only advice from another small channel is don't get caught in the numbers! just keep making what you want to post about! apparently, first get to one hundred and let youtube do its thing! Difficult as like you my work is around data! (I'm Rik from ball family adventures btw!) My family has grown up so trying to build my own channel too! Keep going don't overthink the data! we do this for fun remember lol!

Happy Thursday Brian, first up you do have one 65+ subscriber - ME ! Next I could have told all that you have learned without any KZitem analytics ( note that the word 'anal' is part of analytics ). Now for how I came to be here:- EDC & Music . In a nutshell if you post content that the average Joe can comprehend & appreciate you have a better chance of reaching your year end target of 500 subscribers than ( I apologize in advance for being blunt ) boring viewers with tips on Leadership, sorry pal but teaching leadership is not going to get you many views & might in fact drive some folks away ( I used to be a manager & like you advanced up the greasy pole from serf to dept. head in a large Intl. company ). So where do you go from here, do you go with the technicalities of leadership or "panem et circenses" - bread & circuses ? My personal advice is you go with bread & circuses, - why? Because KZitem is more geared to an audience that wants to be entertained rather than lectured / educated ( unless its recipes, how to fix your car, survive in the wilderness with only a Swiss Army Huntsman knife or what is best a Glock 19 or a 1911 for EDC ). Your EDC video was a hit, viewers are nosy & intrigued - what gadgets does BJ ( you ) carry or use daily at work & at home ? And your music videos proved that you do have some musical talent I recommend build on Success & do not reinforce Failure . Expand you musical videos to 3 -5 minutes playing popular or classical guitar pieces & expand your EDC gear out from just the latest Tech gizmos into things your average Joe probably carries, watches, phones, pens, wallets, flashlights, multi-tools & of course pocket knives. Since you are in the UK & face severe knife carry restrictions stay with safe little legal carries like Swiss Army knives. In addition based on your food industry back ground maybe a few simple food and drink selection & storage tips, easy recipes & if you are up for it some restaurant reviews and if you have any hobbies ( trains, model making, painting , sports etc etc etc ) tell us about them ( except if you are cricket fan because despite me being my house cricket team captain at school its a totally boring sport ! ). That's all for now, take a Scotch if you are drinking man or 2 Aspirins ( after getting a tension headache from reading my rant ) and wishing you good luck in making your mind up about the future direction of your channel & growing it to 500 by years end! Sincerely , Steve, Jurassic era relic living in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Brilliant! I love your messages Steve and value your feedback. You're so right whilst making me smile and laugh. On the whiskey front , I do have a nice bottle of 25 year aged Old Pultenry. Time for one of those along with reflection. :-). Thank you!
