If Wisconsin ends up in a conflict that is against China it will get sunk on day 1. China's navy dwarfs what US currently has, they have better anti ship missiles than you, they have actual hypersonic cruise missiles, they have significantly better drones than you and they aren't suffering the massive manpower and recruiment issues you have. They also don't have trans activist nutters in command positions like you do. They already have done simulated wargames with China v US over Taiwan and you guys lost every single time. Lastly you'll more likely to be fighting in Iran, that's more your level.

Good luck, if Taiwan war breaks out, I wonder how many of you will be surprised China will only spread their navy to cover their beaches instead of using them to attack Taiwan. Taiwan is engulfed by China long range missiles, and we are talking production around 5k heavy duty with no electronics a month, around 10k cheap and low yield explosives in a week. About 500 high tech large missiles in 3 months. I'm still amazed so many people think that war would be fought at sea. China Sea is just a name, no one can fight US dominance over open waters.

I’d have to arrange with some machine shops to create new breach blocks for the 16 inchers, and I think Lockheed could definitely invent some cool discarding sabot ammo for em. There’s a few spots where new steel needs to be added but she’s structurally sound for the most part. It would be a lot of work but it would still be doable. A true battleship. 3, x3 16in guns.Along with a variety of other weapons. But the idea that somewhere over the horizon, there could be 9 16in shells heading your way, and there's nothing you can do about it, is scary AF. As a Marine I'll talk shit about the Navy all day long. But Naval artillery is no fucking joke. Had a friend with SF during VN, he said that everyone got excited when they called for artillery support, and was told that the only thing available was Naval from one of those monsters. He said even though they were nowhere close to him, the shells sounded like freight trains going overhead. And that 3 shells was normally all that was needed.

Thank you for explaining the series. It’s a shame some people think something different nowdays is bad, and you can see how that’s going for some pepole/companies ( *cough cough* COD mw3, overwatch 2, the day before) wich makes them afraid to push the boundaries, just like darling in the franxx or helldivers 2 did. Some movies/games aren’t for everyone, and darling in the franxx applies to this category. Some people view it as bad, while others (including me) view it as something unique. Yes, there are tons of movies and anime abaout romance and mechs fighting, but this series doesn’t want to just show you mech battles with some filler in between. No. It makes you sympathize with the characters, makes you see that they all have their own feelings and emotions. I think the ending is so disappointing to a lot of people is because after they die and get reincarnated, they aren’t hiro and zero two anymore. I personally think that it is both sad and a little bit dissapointing, but as everyone knows, everything comes to an end at some point, its just the matter of when.
