Whatever, we don’t need him. How many conference championships have we played in and won over the years without these five-star kids? How many times have we beaten big schools like USC those past few years? Let the five stars continue picking these overrated big market schools. Our team is the star! Utah is doing just fine without them. Go Utes!

Conference championships are not national championships. Can’t win the national without good recruiting.

@@DerkSpringer LOL, when was the last time USC has even won a national championship despite getting five star players each year? Utah beat Alabama in 2008 with only 2-3 star players and perhaps could have gone all the way had there been a playoff system back then. However Utah wasn't "popular" enough to be chosen to play in the national championship despite going 13-0. Sadly these five star kids will always chose the "big schools" because of their "winning tradition", even if they haven't won in over 20 YEARS! Wish they would give Utah a chance. But they won't, so screw them. We will find a way to win with our 3-4 star players. And we have.

@@OhShiitakeMushrooms that Alabama game was amazing I still love to remind old army buddies that every time Utah has played bama Utah won. And they hate it. And yes usc hasn’t won a national championship since 2004 but they have 17 more than Utah has. Hell even byu has 1 more than Utah has. Granted I feel like Utah should have won that 2008 championship. But recruiting matters we have an amazing team and one that I feel has a chance this year but I also feel like we need to really play the long game to get better. And maybe we can get one in a year or two.

@@DerkSpringer Utah didnt take football seriously for all those years. BYU was an unearned fluke and had little to do with skill or quality of players.

No it's not a cause for concern. Why would a 5 star wide receiver recruit go to Utah and block instead of going to a school that's going to target him all the time. Defensive player, running back, tight end makes sense to go to Utah but not a receiver. I don't blame the kid.

The 3rd or 4th productive WR at USC usually has similar numbers to Utah’s most productive WR, so early playing time at Utah doesn’t hold much weight.

I was at the game last year in Tucson and definitely want revenge, but not 100% convinced that we can steam roll them. I will be happy with a win, no matter how we get it. Would love a 42-14 type of finish

This is exactly the reason I believe we stand a good chance at a guy like Harris next year. We can offer a great NIL deal and we can offer immediate and impactful playing time at the position

I rewatched 10 minutes of game time of the KState vs Arizona game. Arizona struggled to contain a running QB and struggled to tackle. I expect Utah to dial up QB runs regardless which QB starts, and Bernard is going to get a solid chance at a 150 yard game. Arizona OLine was really bad too letting 3 man fronts to get pressure. We hopefully can get 3+ sacks and force turnovers. Is this the game we get our pick 6?

If we get 5 star recruits, great. If not its not the end of the world. Star rankings arent a guarantee, theres a lot of luck, and varience involved. It seem there are great players that could be 4 and 5 star players if they were given the chance to shine. Utah is great at developing those kids into top NFL drafts.

Let it go on this Jerome Myles bit potentially returning to Utah down the line. He made his selection, he's a Trojan. Unless and until he's wearing a Utah jersey playing for the University of Utah, I'm completely indifferent to him and what he does moving forward.

Don’t underestimate Arizona. This screams let-down game for me especially after an emotional win in Stillwater. Everyone I’ve talked to has already chalked this up as a win, looking ahead to the bye. That is a recipe for disaster! Let’s not forget what they did to us in Tucson last year, scoring late and embarrassing us. We need to come out with some fire.

Jerome miles is injury prone has been hurt this year and has played in only a few games. If he is constantly getting hurt in High School he will struggle in college.
