The lack of common decency is the problem here…and that’s not just restricted to the police; the rot starts at the top … just look at the government for a start. This was a despicable crime … and it has had repercussions for the wider community of Nottingham; it took place at the end of the road where my daughter, a uni student, lived. Her home was raided in searching for this man … every time it’s raised in the news it triggers her … thankfully this is her final year. She really didn’t want to go back last year. This matter is yet another example of how society is degrading before our eyes; the constant use of foul language, the poor behaviour of MPs, the lack of respect shown for anyone in authority … drs, teachers etc.

Oh dear..rhe police need emotional support and without it feel the need to further victimise the victim's family by publishing gory details of attacks....there should be enshrined professional standards in the Police. Meanwhile the killer has a free passage for life in a mental home with all the support tax payers can afford.

Sorry as much as I am disgusted by the Police at the moment how did a private Whatsapp messages get out? Could it be that certain officers were telling their colleagues what a monster the MURDERER was, be it in a crude way. I would be more worried about officers that sneak behind their colleagues back to tell tales on their language in a private chat. Also this the mother who was pushed to the forefrront because of her words of forgiveness and how she didn't blame he murderer of their child whereas the family of the man who was killed was excluded from the whole event because they were calling the MURDERER of their loved a monster.

I lived in Nottingham for 21 years my partner of 15 years run off stealing £50000, she got a caution, i put a complaint in it took a year the complaint was upheld on three counts, the officer was then promoted, they treat the victim like there the problem because you complain about there total incompetent conduct, the worst and rudest and most incompetent police force in the country, rated as the lowest performing police service for years in England, my deepest sympathy for the families of the victims of this tragedy.
