I've just seen this for the first time. I don't know how I've managed to miss it. I'm 6000 miles away from my home in Ireland sitting in 36C sweltering heat, sweat dripping off me - but when Bullfrog Blues came on I felt a cold shiver through my body and goosebumps all over. Jeezuz H....I started headbanging again lol. WTF? It brought back so many great memories of watching Rory live. I don't know how many times I saw him (lots) but it was never enough!!!! Thanks for making me feel young again.

At least Rory knew how much people all over the world, but especially in Ireland, loved him. Never a single bad story about him. Thank God he disdained the mega star glam world of rock - he was humble and pure to the end.

Yeah ! I feel the same. I read all the books about Rory. His brother Donal said, the doctors gave him Paracetamol, not only as a pill but as an injection too. !!!!!!!! Giving that bad stuff to a hard drinking man, was like killing him step by step. No Liver could stand that. Miss him so much ! And you`re right: No doctor can cure misery. Only loving people can do. By chance ! Hopefully !

Rory was the best I ever heard - lucky me, I heard that soft modest voice in person also . and as for his guitar....how the hell could he be anything but number one, as a player, as a human being. Such a beautiful man in every way...he had such finesse and such grace -musically, socially. I think about him so often. You know I'm still thing of you xxx

Miss Rory so much. Such a gentle, sensible and unassuming man. But this world was never meant for one as beautiful as him. If he would only took help in time. But he was his own man. Trusted too much in doctors - who brought him into the grave. So sad.

I wouldn't like to go back to a world without trade unions, but you can only shake your head at the Irish Musicians Federation's idea of looking out for its members interests by calling a meeting to censure Gallagher for staging a 3-piece! 10 out of 10 for visionary thinking there, boys! It was this sort of thing that led to nonsense like the Ramones having enforced orchestral backing on Top of the Pops in '79 ('78?) ...I mean, an orchestra?!! C'mon, the Ramones were a Heroin band, not a Cocaine band, lol! Seriously, this sort of thing was great for hack musicians, and to be fair, I suppose it helped ensure a decent living for session musicians, but the inflexibility of unions in the '70's, much like the insane demarcation, in the long run only played into the hands of insane libertarians like Thatcher.
