Kumbakonam Iyengar Aathu alavu 1/4 kg Vara Milagai, 1/2 kg Dhania, 50 GMs Pepper n 50 GMs Jeeragam, 200 GMs Thoor Shall, 150 GMs Channa Shall n 100gms Virali Manjal all dry Roast Separately or Sun Dry for three days n Grind it in 1000watts power mixie or go to Mavu Mill n grind it well. It can used to Rasam also. It will be in Ultimate Taste

Actually in Tamil people we never add kariveppilai in the Sambar or rasa podi. Maami sonna madhiri colour kettu pogum. In Karnataka and Andhra they add it.
