I like the contrast of the mellow instrumentals against her powerhouse voice. While part of me thinks it's criminal how underrated she is, the other part of me is grateful because I would never want her to change her music to conform to pop music standards.

Kaiden that's your opinion and you are definitely entitled to one of those. but personally I would have to disagree. I like Jazmine's style and tone more than Beys. Jazmine's voice is sooo raw. There are so many ppl that can imitate the sound that Beyoncé puts out but I couldn't say the same for Jazmine..Fantasia..or Tamar other than her sisters 😂😂

You do understand that the only way for Jazmine to really prosper is if non Black people also support her artistry in large numbers. The black community already supports, appreciates and values her. But lord willing, soon they’ll catch on. She’s singing the national anthem at this coming super bowl. That’s huge exposure for her!

i swear i feel like a wanna cry. I miss Whitney so much regardless of her demons. It's hard for me to talk about her because i get emotional. Although i didnt know her personally, It feels like she was part of my family. As for Jazmine....thank GOD for her. as my husband would say...now thats country-fied sang'n..( even-though shes not from the south) meaning this gurl is superfluously soulful/talented. And there is no one out there currently that has her sound/riffs/runs...

Let me state first that I am a mega Whitney Houston fan. Next, this is a lovely performance because she owned it in her terms in her vocal style. Thank you!!
