I especially like the insights and comments you share on the overview. Good job! Also, the most crucial nuance with the noble line really is the glaive. It changes non-simulated battle performance of the noble line drastically and makes Torguud and higher ranks a horse archer that can decimate dedicated melee cavalry in engage approach. When you look at the Khan's guard as a standalone unit, it appears OP, and rightly so. But the fact Khuzaits have fewer cities and villages and noble should also be taken to account here on a bigger scale.

The tribal warrior is extremely good for its tier, but you do need to procure the horse for the upgrade from the nomad., which makes it a bit expensive for the early game. The upgrade from the tier 4 archer to the tier 5 archer is too expensive for too little "gain". The upgrade cost money and the salary is 4 gold higher per day for no real gain. Cavalry unit should have an extra weapon slot while on a horse.

one thing to keep in mind for the units is who they will be fighting. for the Khazuits they face the Empire, the Nords, the Aseri, and Steppe Bandits. the Empire is usually too mixed to really focus on the counters available to them to defeat any player of the other factions, but can counter any faction as the player. the Nords have great shields, which makes archers, and to a lesser degree horse archers, much less effective. the Aseri have great counters to Kazuits, as they are to some degree built to counter them. the Steppe Bandits even are a full cavalry force, which is largely a horse archer line, which makes them very fast for parties they can defeat if they grab infantry. so while Kazuits are a great force they are contained quite well and forced along a very cavalry focused line, which their infantry being somewhat of a liability for their foes. this is fine as their infantry do well in sieges and you do need infantry for such things. overall they are quite fun, and can feel very overpowered if used right by a player to ensure they keep to the strong points of their faction. with the difference between AI versus player potential the only other faction that has such a big swing is probably the Empire, but the Empire requires more knowledge of the different factions and how to use each type of unit while keeping a stockpile of troops to configure your army for the opponent you will most likely be facing, making the Empire a bit more of an advanced player's sort of super force (and with the variety also a beginner's force that when played sort of adhoc not weak to anything).

I have taken 175 khan's guard into a battle against an army of 1350 varied aserai and I beat them with only about 20 losses (only a few deaths, mostly KOs). If you can command them properly and set up your leadership properly, Khan's guard are absolute juggernauts. Heavy cavalry is a problem ONLY because of how much time it takes to get them undercontrol. I like saving my army's arrows for the shield walls once the cavalry are dealt with. That way when everyone runs out of arrows the ops shields are shredded and the glaive can just bash through shielding infantry. Posting khan's guard on a hill face also makes for a vicious uphill march only to be easily disrupted by a downhill glaive charge. If you learn to use them they are devastating. devastating

A bit late to the party: The Khans Guard have one huge advantage on horseback compared to other cavalry, their glaive hits HARD from any position and they don´t have to sort of rely on speed to poke with a "spear type" polearm. I often see "pointy tip" cavalry missing them by a hairs length for the Khan to just swing wildly and hit with a deathblow, they don´t need speed to be effective although it helps. This means that the Khan doesn´t have to align his charge like most other cavalry, I just suck offensively with couched lances ... the AI is actually better than me at that .... but they will often miss the Khan on horseback and pay the price for doing so. I currently have 300 Khans Guard on my roster and its by far the most effective army in Calradia ... the only thing I fear are actually the Vlandian top tier crossbows, they can hit a Khan on the move.

Honestly I’m disappointed with taleworlds Bannerlord release. It feels hollow. Many features aren’t present in the game, like penalizing retreating during battles, diplomacy, smithing armor, bows, arrows, and other items, more interactive trading that isn’t looking at the same bloody UI all the time, actual dynamic keep battles where the ai retreats to the keep physically present on the siege map, and not a lazy instance copied straight from Viking conquest, criminal activities, medicine 275 being a personal skill instead of party medic skill, surrender mechanics for keeps and towns, which was present in Viking conquest and in AWOIAF, cavalry still being unable to aim or actually couch their lances instead of awkwardly holding them like peasants, spears being absolutely useless despite being the most widely used weapon on the battlefield, actual kingdom management that allows players to direct armies towards specific towns or targets, which was present in warband, war and peace declaration notifications like in warband instead of the wimpy little pop that Bannerlord loves to use and confuse players with, and so much more. Sigh… well at least there’s kingdom of Arda to look forward to. And mods I guess

If you plan on making summary videos, or future updates, I think these points might help: Go per troop type instead of per tier, IMO it'll have a nicer flow you want to know what to pick after all. Skip tier 2 or mention it as a footnote. It has to survive and be upgraded, how good it is isn't that important. Same for tier 3 nobles. This creates groups of three troops, tier 3-5 (or 4-6 nobles) that you can judge as one mixed group, mentioning the plus and minus points of each tier compared to its rival group of three.

As the others noted, you do get money from loot, prisoners, solved issues, etc. earned by other clan parties. The money will pop up from time to time if you hover the income on the overland map. However it is sporadic. Essentially they send you any extra money leftover from covering the cost of their party. If you play as a mercenary, if your clan has parties in another army you get influence, which equals denars. As a vassal or ruler the biggest advantage of having other clan parties is you can call them to your army for no influence. Unlike other lords in your faction which do cost influence, sometimes a lot of influence. You can raise a massive multi-hundred large army with just your clan’s parties and it will cost you no influence. Of course the biggest advantage of having many clan parties is it’s more men for the meat grinder that is Calradia. This is especially true when you start your own kingdom, as you will likely have no other parties to call to join you in battle beyond what your clan can provide.

Strat Gaming has done some more indepth testing and the Khan's Guard is indeed a real beast on foot. the big problem with them is a lack of a shield, so if they are outnumbered by archers, or have to face crossbows in a siege then they will die in large numbers. basically they can't tank arrows for an archer line, but excel in everything else. much of this comes down to AI issues, and once that gets ironed out then they will no longer be the best shock cavalry in the game, and might not be the best shock trooper either. they will still be the second best foot archer, being noble, and the best horse archer, again being noble. their glaive while a great all round weapon should have issues in charges into infantry lines, and massed infantry while being used on foot (at least next to 2 handed axes), which should make them a great unit, but not the best for any role one would reasonably want them in (not fodder). you can see the one of the AI issues with the pikemen, as they don't do well against cavalry which they are supposed to be the counter for them. the other issue is that the AI doesn't seem to get the new inherent bonuses of the weapon types (for 2 handed axes it is cleaving through troops if they do enough damage).

The Khuzait military is a in a great position both in theory-crafting and practical gameplay. Their mounted units are so strong that they can handle field battles very well in most situations even without micromanagement. By design they fall short on foot, so sieges are going to be tougher for them, and that's where the advantage of their position on the map comes in. Thanks to the relative shallowness of the country it's very easy for a Khuzait party to jump into other territories to pick up units from those cultures that perform better in their given roles. That opens the door to very diverse armies with no real weaknesses. Khuzaits might have a weaker infantry and non-mounted archer game, but they have easy access to Sturgian, Imperial, and Aserai troops that can make up for it. In fact they might even be the best overall "unit pirate" culture in the game. With those kinds of options you can put together any kind of army you want, something few other nations can really claim.

Also, I'm very happy that they can stand their ground on foot and in sieges. I used to play OG Mount and Blade, and the Khergit (or what the name was) were always a total pushover in sieges. I guess better AI for the individual soldiers play a big role here, but in any case it's a relief.
