great fan of the sport and its advances in safety for the drivers but would also like to commend Alex Premat for his efforts to try and get Courtney out of the car even that deserves a mention of great sportsmanship even tho he created the accident but hope Courtney gets well soon and has a good recovery

Took nearly a minute for the Safety and Medical cars to be deployed. Ridiculous response time. Not good race management by Tim Schenken.

Zero Ninety well like you said ‘where are the marshals’? So Premat came to Courtney’s aid as his leg was trapped and obviously hurting.

im surprised thats not a tarmac run off. I dont like seeing them but neither the Davison Whincup crash or this one would have happened cause the car's would maintain control

Its racing, if you dont want to crash, be an accountant. There has to be some incentive to stay on track. Im all for safety but white lines on a giant piece of tarmac isnt my idea of good viewing.
@Techathy

If you supply large amounts of run off it makes it very dangerous for motorbikes. As cars are much more protective of the drivers it makes sense to put big gravel traps on your high speed corners, if you're wanting to attract or maintain motorcycle racing at the circuit.
