Filmed with home movie 8mm film camera on the Big Island of Hawaii 1970.
The home movie film camera had no capability to record sound. I mailed the film to Eastman Kodak and had a Sonotrack coating added to the movie reel I created. Sonotrack is an analog magentic coating that would record sound while playing the film in a sound projector that had the capability to record sound. My wife and I wrote scripts and recorded our audio to reel to reel audio tape and added music on separate tracks. I had the film digitized in 2009. As I created this KZitem video I replaced the music tracks with SmartSound royalty free music Aloha Oe, Pacific Rendezuous, Making Memories and Quandry which I purchased form SmartSound. I plan to make a playlist of videos from other 8mm films I shot on the Hawaii islands.
