Vadhya Milan is a project curated by Veena Venkatramani, a veena artiste.
The project, which is one-of-a-kind, aims to explore the collaboration possibilities between the carnatic instrument - Veena - and other instruments, across the 10 days of Navarathri. Through this project, Veena has brought together 15 other artistes from across India, and a total of 12 musical instruments, comprising both Carnatic and Hindustani instruments.
Today's video, on Day 5 of Navarathri, brings together the Veena, Violin, and Mridangam, along with a twist - the Konnakol.
The kriti featured in this episode is Niravadhi Sukhada - Ravichandrika - Aadhi - Saint Thyagarajar.
