Ubadiyu is a traditional south Gujarat dish which made in earthen pot. Its specialty of my village and surrounded areas. Valsad/Dungari Babubhai Ubadiyu is very famous and it very near to my place. Ramubhai Ubadiyu is also very famous and I shared its traditional recipe last year. Now you can make ubaadiyu/umbadiyu at home very easily and trust me you will get the best result.

Ingredients:
To Make Masala Paste:
1 Bowl Fresh Coriander
1 Cup Green Garlic
10 Green Chillies
8-10 Garlic Cloves
1/4 Cup Ginger
1/2 Cup Fresh Turmeric
2 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 Lemon Juice
Vegetables:
1 Sweet Potato
5-6 Potatoes
250 to 300 Grams Purple Yam
500 Grams Papdi
1 Cup Groundnut Powder
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 tbsp Carrom Seeds
2 tsp Coriander Cumin Powder
Sea Salt to Taste
1/4 Cup Groundnut Oil
To Cook Ubadiyu you will need this leafy herbs, Kalar, Kamboi or Pilvan. But as alternat you can use Mint, Fresh Coriander, Curry Leaves etc.
