Hi there yes it is a French dessert originating in the surrounding on the town of Lyon. Apparently dating back from the 19 century. If you don't have cream you can just use more fruit or make a fruit mousse. Thanks for watching .

Hi Guys, as noted by Alvin Murray. It seems the conversion I got online was incorrect so 100 Celsius = 212 Fahrenheit and not 192 Fahrenheit . thanks

really don't understand how you don't have more subscriptions, great content

Hi David, thanks for you comment. you know its been something I have been wondering too. subscriptions, I understand as it takes some commitments, but for the views counts it does still bring up some questions. even with 100 videos available and 2 years that the channel is live, most videos struggle to get more then 1000 views globally. so when people on the internet are saying something is up with KZitem.... who knows. otherwise people really are not keen on French food :o(

Cernan Liongson yeah it has similarities but the real vacherin is actually a whole cake totally covered with whipped cream. The ice cream ideally would have to be made from scratch too, but this is a cut down version. Thanks for watching and happy valentines

Louise Ricketts yeah it's great I love meringue too. But that said when making this dessert it really pays to make the ice cream from scratch as well

Bon Jour Stephane, lovely dessert! I am wondering if you have ever heard of Caillettes? I had a recipe that had pork chard and bread besides seasonings. It's a type of dumpling you have with soup. Maybe you have a recipe hiding in one of your books ?

Bonjour mon ami. Saluté de Brésil une autre fois. Great dessert. I have to confess that I need to work on my pâtisserie skills. Not my strongest suit! By the way today for Sunday lunch I made the Tomate a la Provençal. I used dried herbs (that was what I have handy). Oregano, parsley, basil. I also used minced garlic and bread crumbs. I used a little olive oil to liase everything. I added a bit of moutarde dijon on top of the tomatoes. It turned out very good but I will make some adjustments for the next time. I will publish in my shop's Instagram account shortly. If You have an email I will send you teh pictures. Merci beaucoup!

The French Cooking Academy thank you. great Idea mon ami. I have been working for the past few months on dishes for people interested on healthier yet flavorful dishes. those use less fats, little salt and lower glycemic index carbs. however I want to give a french cuisine twist and increase the flavor. I failed to mention that my snack shop os inside a gym.

Is this classic French dessert which are originated in France??? Really or not 😗😗😗😗😗 Or if I don't have cream or mascarpone cheese so what can I substitute for this item for this recipe ?????
@deendrew36

Rohit Pillai the marscapone and cream are pretty integral to the recipe....but maybe a Greek yogurt? I don't think you'd be able to pipe it, but just dollop it?
