Beautiful. In my opinion it looked nicer and more appetizing without the yolk and mayo. Good luck and best wishes. You've earned it.

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. I love the tips you give, using plastic wrap when slicing the sushi, and placing the mat in a bag (made for an easy clean up). Used your technique but subbed in canned tuna and a bit of mayo for the filling, pipped on some sriracha mayo. Hubby was very impressed. Thanks again and Happy Valentine's Day!

I think the outcome of the recipe looks really good and undoubtely tastes awesome. However, I feel you slightly overdid it with the egg yolks. I mean, you may have used a little too much. As a result all the colouring and shapes inside the roll can't be appreciated. But anyway, it looks delicious! I've been cheking out your videos and I've been learning a lot. Hopefully. someday I'll have the time to properly prepare these recipes, especially because it seems rahter difficult to get many of the ingredients here in South America!

Does the fruit juice in the pink mayo make it sweet at all or effect the flavor? If It does could you use beet juice instead?
@MakeSushi1
9 жыл бұрын
I used Frozen raspberries they are a little more on the sour side compared to their fresh counter parts. I find the slightly sour raspberry juice works well with the sourness of the sushi rice. You can of course use beetroot juice, it will add a little earthy taste, but Im sure you already knew that.

1st of your finished products I haven't thought looked super amazing. The stuff at the end killed it. My suggestion, run a diagonal streak of the egg over each heart through the off-centers, and then zig zag the mayo on the hearts. Otherwise, keep up the good work

+Laila Chaudhry If you can't find packaged Seaweed sheets in your local supermarket, then look in the Asian markets, they are sure to have them. Also, I believe Wal-Mart has an International or Asian food isle in their grocery section, you could check that out.
