I love Valium. I have a very low dosage and very low prescription count. I need it for panic attacks. I am not at risk for addiction towards it because taking it scares me too and I can only bring myself to take it when I feel like I’m dying/going to be going to the hospital. It’s magical for me. But I also workout daily, eat well, and take care of myself spiritually. My trauma follows me but I’m strong enough most the time but when all the clouds cover the sun, the rain begins to drown me and my demons hold me down it’s nice to have a life vest for a day or two to get back up and in stride

I have been suffering from lower back pain for several years. My original Dr prescribed meloxicam (15mg/day). No improvement. Took Ibuprofen when the back pain got really bad, but bleed out one night and passed out on the bathroom floor. Went to get a blood test and found out my Hb was 5.2. He retired and Dr #2 sent me for X-rays, said everything looks good and suggested PT. Was in more pain than ever. Went for acupuncture about 15 times over 3 months. Was more hunched over leaving the place. Went to a Chiropractor a bunch of times, which seemed to help, but was in the same pain the next morning. Then a friend suggested deep tissue massage but that good feeling did not last long. I bought a TENS unit and wound up burning my skin to the left and right of my spine. Bought the Dr. Hoe belt to decompress the spine, but that didn't work either. As luck would have it my dentist prescribed 10mg of Diazepam prior to a root canal. I took one and within 5 minutes I could feel a change. I was far more relaxed about the root canal but the tightness in my lower back was less and so was the pain. I thought I finally turned the corner. Sadly, no. The back pain came back, but this time I cut a10mg tablet in half. Within 5 minutes I could feel it working, and yes my back felt much better. The effect lasted all day long. I split the 10Mg into quarters (2.5mg) and this time I did not feel it kicking in but it was just enough to release the tightness in my back. in 3 days I get the results of a lumbar MRI that was ordered by an immediate care facility doctor. I did look at the computer disk of the scans, and spent 3 hours on KZitem watching videos on how to read the MRI. T2 sagittal view has the 5/4 and 4/3 disk sticking into the white canal about 4mm as far as I can tell. Not 1 MD gave me any pain meds, they just told me to take ibuprofen . I don't want to bleed out again or burn up my kidneys. I'm about to turn 62, never been over weight, exercised when I had the chance (I work too much). I'm very disappointed at the level of care I have received in the last 3 years from classic rent seeking doctors. Can you imagine the reaction I would receive if I told my current family practice guy that Diazepam gave me relief? At what dose(s) per day are we talking about with regard to being considered an addict, or on the road to addiction? Thank you for your video.

At this time i was already doing it as a recreational drug and i also told the doctor and he still decided to prescribe me it. Im 21 years old now and ive stop taking this since almost 2 years now and i still feel addicted to those. I got a mild operation a few months ago and i was so scared of getting addicted to benzos again because of the medication they prescribed me for pain before and after the surgery (thankfully it didn't happen). Now i am better in life and im glad i pass through all of that, i am still depressed here and there but i will be fine. I am on 4mgs of Clonazepam every day, i am in tolerance withdrawal, and they cause me problems even during use. Like aggression, hostility out of the blue and depression. I tried a year ago to slowly taper by reducing 0,5mgs every month and when i reached 2,5mgs i ended in the ER with Confusion, tremors, Muscle Twitching and Akathisia. My Blood Pressure was sky high. 220 over 140. I had to increase the dose. I hope CBT will work with my doctor and maybe a slower taper. I also take Gabapentin. Thanks for the video

@Giannis Revealer I too have been on benzos for as long as you. I needed to switch from Xanax to Valium in order to “smoothly” taper. You should try to find a doctor that will help you do this as Valium has such a long half life that you won’t get a sudden drop every 4-6 hours. I also found that those long term users like us need to tape SLOWLY and at a very small reduction-5% cuts every few weeks has worked for me. It is very tolerable and does not impact my daily life. Sounds like you were going way too fast and making too large of cuts. Good luck!

I don't like weed because it slows my reaction time and it makes me feel like I'm not in my own element, but some people deal with it well. @@DoctorJack16 Yes sir! I'm aware of that, my friend. I think there's a big stigma about cannabis that causes people to believe that most people just want to get high on it, but that's a misconception because most people just want to feel better, both emotionally and physically. All people have a need to feel well, because without your health you can feel so defeated. I truly believe health as wealth, because you could have all the money in the world, and be sick but really have no happiness. However, if you're in good health, you are still able to focus on the things and the people that matter to you most, rather then spending time believing you're going to get worse. I believe CBD is more beneficial to a person's wellness than THC since cannabidiol type 1 and 2 have the healing properties needed without the haze you have from THC in the medicine. I’ve been on Klonopin for probably close to 15 years or more, and I don’t have an addictive personality, not sure how anyone can get addicted to benzopines because people that need them for panic attacks on occasions don’t necessarily take them unless they need them. I wish people would stop putting people in the same categories of people who have addiction problems because those same people will find another addiction whether it’s alcohol, gambling, food addiction etc. What do you want people to do that actually have anxiety? Because the antidepressant drugs you mentioned do not work for people who have anxiety and panic attacks. They don’t want people to use marijuana etc so what are people to do? Klonopin’s formulas have changed with manufacturers, and years ago the formula seemed to work better for anxiety. Whatever the manufacturers are producing now, trust me- no one will try to use it like a recreational drug, it doesn’t have that affect. It will stop a panic attack though.

Very informative and interesting! I was prescribed Gabapentin after my TKR to calm nerve pain... initially 100mg a day and upped to 600mg daily after a month. Upon reading about the medication and finding out it was a drug used to treat seizures, I weaned myself off of it after having taken it for three months. I replaced it with CBD which, in fact, worked just as well, if not better, and with no side effects! Thank you, Dr. Jack for confirming my doubts!👍🏼😊

If one uses a high quality, safe CBD product that is not isolate and titrate to effect, the chances of success are very good assuming expectations are within reason. @wickertwm, it depends on the manufacturer, all manufacturers of those drugs have different formulas. I have taken klonopin for over 15 years or more and I can tell they have changed the formula from when I first started taking it, because it seem liked it worked better for anxiety years ago. One company that makes klonopin/clonezapam seemed like it was a placebo pill. I had to go to a pharmacy that could order from a different manufacturer to get a different prescription of klonopin that wasn’t a placebo. That could be the case with activan, that you need to research the best manufacturer for that drug. Xanax never worked for me, so it could be that you need to switch to another benzodiazepine.

As long as its not daily. But just watch yourself . It is very easy to start taking 3 pills a week and then a week later it's for pills a week and then a month later it's five pills a week that's how it was with me and my Klonopin. Right now I am weaning off. I have been on Klonopin 1mg for about four years now and I am only 29. My psychiatrist gave these to me because I was getting off of opiates at the time when I first started four years ago and they helped TREMENDOUSLY. But now it's more of that rebound anxiety that I get from not taking it. Though I only take it now about three to four times a week either way it's really easy for any person to get addicted to these really quickly and there's nothing wrong with you if this happens. Because yes most doctors don't really care about telling you what will happen in long-term. My doctor just told me about six or seven months ago that it's time for me to wean down

According to a 3rd black box warning update on Benzos published Sept 23rd/2020, Upwards up to 97% of persons who take benzos longer then recommended which is 2-4 weeks and who stay on longer then 3 years will injure their nervous system both CNS and PNS, you won't notice damage to your nervous system until its too late with a estimated 92% experiencing life changing symptoms while on the drug from Musculatory, Neurological symptoms which 33% of cases are misdiagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis), 22% misdiagnosed with brain tumours symptoms, 12% misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease, 10% misdiagnosed with Alzheimer, 13% misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease, 7 misdiagnosed with epilepsy add 3 misdiagnosed with insomnia based condition.... That's just neurological symptoms, 41% developed visual to perception dysfunction with 12% losing vision completely... Mind you, This comes from that 92% WHO I REPEAT DID NOT ABUSE THEIR MEDICATION The other 7.8% couldn't be calculated because they were using other medications. This means that if you use benzos beyond 4 weeks with a average of 3 years on benzos both on regular bases or "As needed" as "As needed" can lead to a nasty condition called "Benzo Kindling", you're almost always going to develop dependence which leads to either tolerance, tolerance withdrawal meaning you experience withdrawal symptoms even on a stable dose, Adverse reaction to a paradoxical effect at some point during usage which requires you to stop the medication which then leads to withdrawal, you're literally damned if you do and damned if you dont. This is literally why doctors are getting in trouble for prescribing longer then 4 weeks, why Rehab programs are removing benzos from help related programs and they're trying to take patients off benzos so they can discontinue usage within the next 10 years while benzos are on their 3rd warning update So please... Educate your self more before you victim blame as most people harmed used benzos as prescribed not abused.
