I remember that this mall was hopping. I did a few Meals on Wheels routes right around there last year and was in shock at the state of things as it had been sometime since I had been by there.

I grew up with that mall in the 80's. I went many times with my parents on weekends. My Dad and I would sit around outside of the Sanger Harris or Dillard's while my Mother would try on clothes. She loved shopping. I use to complain about it and pester them about getting lemonade at this place that had really good lemonade in the food court or tacos. They had a cool arcade. Now that my parents are in heaven I miss them so much and would give anything to hang out with them at the mall on a Saturday afternoon. My Mom could take as much time as she wanted trying on clothes. I wouldn't complain. I guess eventually Town East will have the same fate.

Spent much time there as a kid. Sad to see it go. Drove by today the AMC sign is gone so valley view is officially done. I wonder how long Town east mall has.

Yippee! Censorship is back! Thank you KZitem for deleting a post I spent several minutes composing! And thanks also for your participation in the FakeDemic! As good Americans and good human beings, keep censoring those that don't support the malicious and destructive narrative! And most of all, censor this post! You're so awesome and make the world a better place!

You had a video of surveillance footage that was on one of the news videos on KZitem and I did my own commentary on it on my channel which is fine copyright wise, but KZitem deleted the video saying that it had violence in it. I appealed it and said the exact same video footage is in another video from CNN and they did not take that one down. Apparently they have double standards because the other video still hasn't been taken down but the appeal was denied. Unfortunately KZitem is one giant Monopoly

Good video. I had good times there too, and it's sad. The way retail is going, one day you're going to be recording the demise of the plush Galleria even I fear. On the Preston side, up towards Alpha on the mall side of the road, a million years ago there was an obscure eating place, I would call like higher end fast-food, I think called Miami Grill or Miami something. That was one of the tastiest burgers I can ever remember. Hmm, just found a couple of Miami Grills in Houston. Maybe that's it. The next closest is in Indiana :( If it's the same place I wonder if they make them like they did a million years ago.

I checked the menu and I think that's the place. I'm seeing they have gyros, grilled Mahi, fish 'n' chips, Greek salads. I even recall that the fries were top of the line for my taste. Looks like I need to do a road trip from Dallas !
