In 1936 he had concerts with S. PROKOFIEFF in Prag.....have you ever heard of Prokofieff ?... Prague is the capital of Czechoslovakia, hosting the oldest university in the world and at that time center of the European Jewish / Bohemian musical tradition...... if you want to proceed with this grotesque conversation, you have to do it in German

I have a concert-program of my father FRANZ HOLETSCHEK, accompaning A. GRUMIAUX's first appearance in Vienna 1950, but I can't send it to KZitem..... did you make some progress in German in order to understand Mozart's letters ? - very interesting, even for less intelligent people

He is playing with the inspiration of the moment...and that is what makes him great and unique. Fritz Kreisler also improvised " in the moment", and never performed the same way a particular piece of the repertoire. Nowadays, these kinds of performers do not exist anymore, with the exception of Martha Argerich, the pianist.

@Thierry Verhoest I think, you are a little bit narrow in your argumentation. The expression " franco - belgian " was a wide spread name, used by many commentators, against the german ( Joachim, Flesch ) or the russian ( Wieniawski, Auer ).
