In this final video on market efficiency, I discuss the role catalysts play in the convergence of price (p) to value (v). Continuing with the insights from my earlier video on analytic advantages and my video on Steinhart's variant perspective, I explain that a catalyst is an event (new information entering the market or the emergence of a new analytical perspective) that starts the process of investors beginning to realize that their estimate of value is incorrect and forces a new estimate of value to emerge.
