Real arcade hardware recorded using the Elgato Camlink 4K and the OSSC. 1080p60 FPS
Real arcade hardware, NOT the PlayStation 2 port of the game!!!! Even though, it’s an exact port, minus optical Guncon 2 support for the PlayStation 2 port. The arcade version uses a CD as opposed to the PlayStation 2 version which uses a DVD.
I was finally able to get the arcade version of Vampire Night working with my custom IR gun and the Crisis Zone CCD camera. Vampire night was released in March of 2000 in two style arcade cabinets: Standard and Deluxe. This game uses both the Namco Rays JVS Pcb and a variation of the Namco V221 MIU pcb similar to Crisis Zone’s I/O but with a different program eprom and FPGA Altera max chip. The arcade game is NOT an optical light gun game but a CCD camera game. Vampire Night originally released on the Namco System 246 (A) pcb but I got it to run on the Namco System 246(B) pcb (works on all revisions of the Namco system 246 hardware Ver.Driving to Ver.C. It’s not compatible with the Namco System 256 or Super 256. Since I don’t have the real dongle, I’m using the Namco System 2X6 USB multi-dongle, which is available for purchase on the arcade-projects site. Prices for the custom guns and gun sensors will be available soon.
