Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines in Donetsk have increased the intensity of their attacks and are trying to break through Russia's defensive lines in the east. Soldiers from 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade are operating a Czech-made ‘Vampire’ rocket launch system near Pokrovsk, one of the key towns in eastern Donetsk. Video footage shows soldiers loading the rocket launcher and targeting Russian positions. Russian soldiers were trying to force Ukrainians to spread their lines thin by attacking at various points of the frontline simultaneously. Putin’s men were taking advantage of their superiority in manpower but attempts to break Ukrainian lines came at a great cost. The commander of the brigade's artillery unit, call sign "Tur" estimated that his brigade alone killed or injured 50 to 150 Russian soldiers each day. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, who visited the area last week, has issued instructions to prioritise the Pokrovsk frontline. #ukraine #russia #war
