As much as I love VH songs where Eddie's guitar shines, this one is definitely in my top 5 VH songs. The sound of the keys and those opening chords in "when it's love" always give me chills. Glad to see someone loves that intro and opening chords as much as i do 😄 It was all Eddie, the programming/creating of that sound, the writing of the intro chords and actually playing it on the album. The second thing i love is when it goes into the song that "sliding" chord Eddie does on the guitar up to the 2nd chord, it just gives it that unique sound. I've seen a lot of people trying to cover this, but get that part wrong... It's essential to the unique sound of this song

Over the years as I've listened to Van Halen you could hear a change in the music when in late 1983 the song " Jump " was released.
