There was definitely a lot of…questionable parts in the hike haha. Definitely recommend it but for sure turn around at the cliff unless you enjoy rock climbing with no safety and the feeling of impending doom!

Sooooooo beautiful place! Do you go to Nagano from now (already)? FYI, CHIHIRO ART MUSEUM the most favorite architect designed in Mattsukawa village in Nagano is cool building and beautiful landscape. You can take the outdoor hot springs Suzumushi-so is the Japanese hotel nearby the museum. Enjoy!

Thank you so much! It just so happens we ran into the Chihiro Art Museum yesterday! We really liked it. When we drove through Matsukawa we couldn't help but notice the architecture. Love onsen so we will check out your recommendation thank you!
