Where as the interior room is very important. Another thing to consider if you break down and need parts, how much are the parts and how hard are they to get? As well how many shops can work on your van.

Roughly 400 MB Sprinter dealers ( not all MBs work on vans) and over 3000 Ford dealerships.

@@bah5310😏 Ford definitely requires 3000 repair shops 🤭

Glad to know the Transit (which was already my favorite) also has the potential to be the most comfortable and has 4WD.

Your video was exactly the kind of video I have been searching for! Your comparisons of the three were clear and extremely helpful in my decision. I wouldn't touch a FORD with a ten foot pole after Ford treated me like a disposable customer when my F-150 blew up because of their design flaw. I swore I would never buy another Ford because that company will kick a decades-long, loyal customer to the curb rather than do the right thing. The Mercedes is nice, but probably too long, and definitely over priced. The ProMaster seems to be the best fit available for me. Thank you for outlining the most important points - the dimensions and estimated prices! I only wish European models were available here in the states!

What about a Fiat Ducato Maxi, Citroen Jumper or VW Crafter?

A very informative video. The Fiat Ducato is also very good, there is much space, different heights and no curve in the ceiling. They are made in Italy, I live in Germany and the problem is that you have to wait 1 to 2 years to get one, because everybody wants to buy them and Amazon needs many of them because people buy so much online, including me. I would take the Ford or the Ducato.

I had a ProMaster at my old job. The windows don't go all the way down and I'm really a fan of the 3.6 V6 that smells like antifreeze all the time. I have an older Airstream Interstate built on the sprinter. 19 mpg and is roomy enough for short camping trips. The company i work for now just got a Ford Transit and after the first 1200 miles I could see me trading the AI for an RV built on the Transit.

I almost bought a 2019 low roof 2wd Transit 350 XLT to convert it into a camper van, but there is a guy on YT -AtomicCar Review-that fixes only Transits, easy to find, and based on his videos, I decided not to go with the Transit. Numerous problems. Low quality overall. Rust shows after only few years. Transmission work requires replacing of suspension. Cheap plastic engine components. Small break pads and tires that wear out faster. Sliding door and windshield problems. Ford did a terrible job. I will rather pay more and get a well built van like the Sprinter.

Another plus for the Transit is that there are many more Ford dealers/service centers than the others, particularly the Mercedes. Good luck finding a Mercedes dealer in Idaho or Montana if you need repairs.

Yup that’s where I’m at. Would love the awd transit but I don’t think i can afford it and I would have to order it here. Will prolly end up with a pro master. Have owned a Chevy express 3500 for 20 yrs and I want to upgrade .
