I've been a subscriber to your channel for about a year, and I've really enjoyed your videos. I admire your courage in deciding what you want to do with your life at this point, planned for it and made it happen. I also love to travel and see the beauty of this magnificent world around us. I enjoy a quiet life filled with wonder and the joy of friends and family. But I'm also an introvert who needs alone time to recharge. Think that's why I especially enjoy your channel. I joke that I'll travel any way I can - even vicariously - and by watching your videos, I can do just that. Thank you for enhancing my life with your travels and observations and beautiful video footage. You rock!

The PNW is so beautiful! I plan to check out Lake Havasu next month. I hope anyway. Have to request time off from work. A bit of trivia…When the London Bridge was first installed we walked the full length inside the London Bridge. We were able to look down at the river below. It was amazing. My brother-in-law was an inspector and let us join him. Enjoy your adventures.

Living in the bay area and with the kids in Portland, Tillamook, and father in law in Crescent City, we do the Oregon coast often...Love Port Orford and Bandon...The 3 state parks side by side on the Ocean in Coos Bay are really nice also...Nice RV park there with a really nice free Botanical garden...When traveling up or down the coast , we often casino camp or state park it...You should have stopped at Misty Meadows on HWY 101 10 miles south of Bandon...Best jams, jellies , syrups , etc to be found, all homemade....GOOD STUFF !!!

Yes I remember the candy necklaces. They weren't like Sweet tarts where they were sour. They were actually pretty sweet tasting and crunchy. Also the liquid little waxy Coke like bottles filled with juice. I also remember the waxed mustaches and wax lips. Candy cigarettes 🤣. I'm 62 and we would go to the corner/local liquor store we called it and they had 1 cent- Penny candy. We would get Tootsie rolls etc for a penny each sometimes 2 pieces for a penny. Fun good ole days ☺️🍬🍭 Happy Easter from Montana. We have snow here in spring. Easter 🐰will have no problem hiding Easter eggs 🥚🥚🥚 in the snow 😀 Enjoy the coast of Oregon! Looks beautiful 🥰

Amber, because of you and your precious videos, I drove to California and back on the same road you’ve taken. I will agree, the Oregon coast is magical. I arrived home last night safely after a month long trip. Florence is hands down my favorite place to be. I’m crying watching this video (with joy) as I miss it already. My new Pleasure Way Ascent drove absolutely wonderful and I was so comfortable.. I started the trip solo and my husband met me in Orange County to drive back with me. I was surprised he wanted to join me however, I was grateful. This is all new to me and I’m loving my solo travels. I also stayed at Blue Heron Creamery because of you, I love it there. They have the most delicious chocolate truffles. thank you for inspiring me that I could do it alone. I adore your videos, you are a truly amazing woman with a beautiful heart. Back home in Redmond, WA for a while before I leave again. I also love that I can work in my van. Blessings.

Great pictures. The lighthouse opens in May but due to safety issues stairs to fresnel lens will remain closed. It had been huge draw to view sea stacks 5 miles off shore and whales. In Port Orford there is a Life Boat station museum and beautiful trails through Sitka pines overlooking Nellie's Cove. There is also Agate beach day use called Tseriadun that is probably the most beautiful beach in Oregon! Safe travels!

As far as I know and understand, those side of the road or highway turnouts are for semi trucks to use for their use, and emergency stops only. I was traveling once and I pulled over into a turn out, and fell as sleep. Then I heard a loud noise as you described and woke me up. Then went back to sleep. It wasn’t long, a CHP officer pounded on my car to wake me, and started to yell at me to tell me I almost got ran over by a semi truck 🚛 He said this turn out isn’t for over nighters, even if your tired. Never stop and camp in those highway turn outs. Park in an RV rest area, or get a hotel for the night. The CHP told me not to be cheap because the cost of a room could easily cost you your life. Since then, I’ll find a campsite or get a room. A safe good night 🌙😴💤 Be safe out there
