The Boss Baby was good and all but (for me) this movie was more sentimental and it delivers the message well when it comes to family.

What makes me emotional is seeing all the couples hold their new babies with a lot of emotion....There are a lot of infertile couples out there and couples who want children, but may have circumstances preventing them from having one or two. Think of how many of them waited for a baby. The tears of joy in their eyes are so real and the way they hold their new children tightly is beautiful. Regardless if they are a same-sex couple, single parent or straight couple, their love for them reached the heavens and now they hold a child in their arms.

Tbh i think this movie is also kinda supporting the LGBT things wich i don't really like it at all(i hate it actually), and the proof can be seen in the last part when the storks giving babies to people there is some 2 men and women couple. But beside of that this movie is totally great and amazing, and i hope my thought about 'Supporting LGBT things' is wrong.

I remember watching the movie with my husband 2 years ago and crying my eyes out at the ending scene because my husband was expected to not be able to have children and I wished for it to be like in the movie with storks suprising us with a baby one day. 2 years forward and I'm writing this comment with my 3 month old son sleeping on my chest. We really were suprised by our miracle baby 🥰💙

When I first watched this movie, I thought it was gonna be just one more mediocre movie made for kids, but rewatching it now makes me see that movie deserves more credit than people give to it. Its actually a really good movie, the jokes are actually funny (because of the amazing voice acting) and the visuals are really good too. Overall this film is so underrated it deserves so much more love.

Tulip feels like going extremely against what Hollywood is doing these days in terms of female characters. The fact that they made her very human and not simply perfect in everything automatically, made her extremely lovable, but not only because of that, also because she has a tremendous sympathy. You start feeling like you really wanted to meet her in real life. This movie is really beautiful.

Agreed; its one thing for adults to have their own ideals about "acceptable" vs "unacceptable", but when a child grows up in an untraditional family, it has to be disheartening to only see examples of traditional ones; I'm sure there is a sense of being left out or isolated.

I loved that they did it too!! Both my best friend and I FREAKED when we saw it. We love to see gay/trans/bi people SO much. Two of our friends are and we like to see people who can confidently show who they are. Not so ironically, there are some 8th graders (1 year older than us) that are homophobic and they are some of the only people that we don't like from that grade. I wasn't taught to be accepting to that stuff, but I wasn't taught not to so I can stand by my own opinion.

This movie it teaches more than family love. It shows that many families could not have child of their own because of different circumstances such as the loss of child, mothers can never get pregnant, husband or wife don't want a child. This movie shows and teaches us that they can heal broken hearts and begin anew with their child in their arms and see their futures unfold. This movie is truly a powerful feels that it touches our hearts and made us cry out of sheer happiness and to remind us that every children are not things but they are God's wonderful creation and blessings.

If I have any complaint at all about the movie, it's that it seemed like it was REALLY building up to have Junior and Tulip, two characters without any real parental figures in their lives (one figuratively, the other quite literally) take it upon themselves at the climax to be to D.D. the parents they wish they had, only to sort of pivot into a safer, less-objectionable-with-the-moral-thought-police ending at the very end. Now having the opportunity to watch the delivery montage in slow motion and pause on every single one, I believe that even more. They had guts -- they were absolutely not going to hold back on the message of family being universal. I guess, even though they'd spent the entire movie setting up the perfect framework for it, multi-species families were where they had to draw the line.
@YaoiChan18
7 жыл бұрын
I don't agree with that Terastas. Remember Bee Movie? We STILL get memes over it and a LOT of people got creeped out by the whole interspecies thing. I actually think that Storks tackled the issue well. The movie focuses on the family dynamic, and while delivering babies typically goes hand in hand with the biological family, the dynamic with Tulip and Junior is more the family you choose for yourself, which is often overlooked in the media. Honestly...I think how it went is the best way it COULD have went. They DO have the multispecies family, it's just not tied together by blood. NO family has to be.

I'm not sure if it's a teenager thing but this song and movie gets me through so many emotions. Yesterday I was so depressed and this cheered me up. Today I was looking at old memories from when I was a baby to now and I started crying tears of joy. This is weird but I always talk to my reflection cause it helps me. I'm saying this because I have no friends that are in to this kind of stuff. I love how this one song can mean so many different things. To me love isn't just romantic, it's being around people who care for you and will do anything for cause they love you. I know it's sappy but I've been randomly super happy today and I just need to let it out.

I saw this video before I watched the movie and it was thanks to it that I found out about the movie "Storks". Before watching the movie, this music video did not evoke as strong emotions in me as it does now, when I have watched the whole movie. The average person will not see anything special in it: just an ordinary animated film for children, about the completely false assumption that children are brought to their parents by storks. However, I see something completely different in it ... This is a film that teaches us that everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, origin or sexual orientation, deserves to be able to give love and receive it themselves . When all the storks took off and my favorite song played, I did not cry with emotion, as some people wrote about it in the comments. I was just smiling. Only at the very end of this scene, when the song started louder, and all the children were delivered to their families, tears appeared in my eyes. They were tears of happiness. When I saw how much the parents were happy to see their children, I finally understood what the whole movie was really about - exactly what I wrote about earlier. Everyone deserves love. "Storks" is one of the most beautiful and touching animated films I have ever seen. His only downside was that it was so short. I hope that after all Junior has become the new boss in his company, and the storks continued to deliver babies instead of some parcels. I love this movie and I love this song 💖 💖💖

I've always wondered what's the point of the Stork in this universe, if people can have babies the traditional way; but I get it now, it's for people who can't have babies!
@purboble
5 жыл бұрын
MakiPcr absolutely correct. There are many people who can’t have babies because they struggle with fertility, maybe had a hysterectomy because of uterine cancer, or a physical disability that would make conception impossible. There are many people out there who may be single because of the loss of a spouse, or simply because they never desired marriage, but they would give anything for a child. There are many lgbt people who would give everything they have to have a child, but discrimination and hate dictate this. Many people of color are denied the right to adopt children because of the color of their skin and racial stigma. There are millions of people, MILLIONS, who would do anything in the world to love and raise a child of their own. This movie does a wonderful job of pointing this out :)
