didn’t Vandy lose to Mizzou and Georgia State? just shut up. they had a great game. good for them. they’re not better than UGA or BAMA. if they played 20 more times, Bama would win 20 times. you saying that their triple option is better than UGAs offense is just ridiculous

This just proves you never want to be the guy following a legend.. This loss may be the microcosm of his career at alabama. He'll be fully initiated after this week. I honestly don't know if he misses the playoffs this year whether he can recover.... I mean, it's widely considered that even Penn state should, on most years, be in the 12 team playoff. They can't miss out or he might be on thin ice

Can someone send Mike Bobo the Vanderbilt playbook and have him watch their tape and maybe we can just add some that or offense. The days of line it up and playing Smash Mouth offense, And throwing little bubble screens and fades and the same run plays. Anybody can read our offense; All you have to do is watch we telegraph everything from our blocking to our routes. Only when we do something that the defense wasn’t expected does our plays look easy otherwise everything we do looks like we’re pulling teeth. Then Kirby acts like we’re not playing hard enough and we’re not blocking and tackling better it’s all a bunch of bologna. Yes NIL has changed the game and you better get yourself adapted to being more creative and figuring out ways to get more sustained drives these three and outs have got to stop. And I know they wanna have a running game to set up play action pass, but brother it’s not happening. Go back and look so far its not working. Also Truss is a liability. Everybody knows that Georgia is going to try to run the ball, and play short pass. I understand the old adage you have to run to pass, but sometimes you have to pass to run because teams are pressing and overloading us. And for Petes sake it seems like the only down field pass we’ve is on the sidelines. Somebody please teach Colbie how to comeback to the ball and elevate to catch a pass. Man, I really miss Monken and his levels concepts. I understand that it seems like we have really fallen off from the athletic perspective at X,Y,Z. I would say our OL as well. Coach has got consistently keep three guys that are going to be Sunday players on that offense has it from a skill set, namely at least one tight end and two receivers. It’s also no coincidence that our best two seasons we had an NFL NFL official coordinator in Todd Monken, a mobile Quarterback in Stetson Bennett, And if you think about it, we have lost such great talent over the past couple years at wideout: Jermaine Burton to Alabama(killing it in the nfl), Adonai Mitchell to Texas (killed it at texas), Jackson Meeks doing really well at Syracuse, And of course, we all know about Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers. In the NFL, we always talk about rosters and injuries as a reason why teams win or lose. Now due to NIL, and having a lack of depth because of it, I just don’t see Kirby being able to keep the players he’s going to need and develop them to be what we used to be. I believe we really got a good time a few years ago before the NIL took over to get 2 championships. Solution: You better build your team like an NFL team. Not sure if we can afford it. But you’re going to have to try to hire NFL caliber offensive defensive coordinators. You were also gonna have to pay for NIL Talent at positions, especially at the quarterback and repositions so you can out score teams. I believe that Kirby will be able to bring in good defensive players because he has a track record of putting them in the league. I just don’t know for the life of me why nobody can’t put sympath logic together and understand. The reason why we won was because of our coordinator, qb and the talent we had. Why wouldn’t you try to go back and re-replicate that? I’m not a bobo basher. I just don’t think he’s as good of coordinator as Todd Monken. For example, when I watched Hugh Freezes offense, You could clearly tell it was a much better offense, and the way that they made plays was a lot easier because their offense of concepts and designs were hard to read on defense. I can only imagine if we had the same thing would guarantee you that our offense with the talent we have would’ve been a lot better.

Vandy QB1 having legs/wheels when situation called for it made the difference in addition to having the courage to get hit by Bama defenders. Having receivers with GOOD BALL HANDS (Georgia is severely lacking in this area) helps as well when playing against Bama. Lastly, having backs that can run down hill like he stole the football helped also. Those are 3 differences that Vandy offense had over Georgia offense that made all the difference tonight. I hope Georgia can get new coaching staff personnel (like the QB coach) who knows how to coach up a QB with wheels AND ACTUALLY USE THE MOBILITY IN THE GAME. Recruiting *Traditional Pocket Passer* QBs is just not good enough in this new era to sustain a championship run. Look at Stetson Bennet IV on his last year at Georgia. He really worked on his throwing arm to accurately throw deep as well as improve his rushing performance when he needed to escape or extend the play. Carson Beck is more of a pocket passer - a statue - and he really does not like to run. Even when he does run, Beck is slow and begins his slide when no defender is within 8 yards of him. Literally makes a difference in 1st down or not.

@@thekingofpingaseveryone but Texas played and got beat this week and all you talk about is how good Texas isn’t? lol if you know football and actually pay attention to the games and not just the scores, the only question you would have is- who has a QB that can match Texas tick for tack? Once you’ve realized not a team in country has a QB as good as the 2 Texas has. That position was sorely lacking at all these top ten losses this weekend, in case you just watched scores

I think Vandy will win more, Bama will lose more and this game will not be so shocking. Vanderbilt IS better. They are 1:18 and a missed makable field goal from being 5-0. Played #7 in nation Missouri to double overtime. Beat Virginia Tech favored to challenge for ACC title. Beat Bama. If only laid a typical Vandy Egg at GA State giving up lead in last minute of game.
