Genius Vangelis. Nothing else needs to be said about this composer.

If you dig deeper you'll find a plethora of 'unofficial' Blade-runner music, including stuff from Vangelis himself. It really is a treasure chest. For years I listened to only the 'official' releases without realizing what I was missing.

The Blade Runner 29th Anniversary Edition (unreleased), which includes virtually every ounce of BR music, even the movie trailers themselves, runs 5 hours, 18 minutes. I found it purely by chance, as crisp as the day(s) it was recorded.

One Alone is a perfect name for this piece, because by the end of the film, that's what Roy ends up being, one against what seems to be the entire world that wants him dead. All he had left, in the end, were his memories, that incredible gift he gave to Deckard before passing on in peace.

I've had this song on my hard drive since 2013 as part of the "29th Anniversary Limited Edition" bootleg release in 2011. Thanks for reminding me. Hi Reddit!

that 2nd disc was almost worth buying the '94 version all over again , but that 3rd disc was a complete gyp . EMS Recombination FTW !

I disagree, the 3rd disc in the 25th Anni version is spectacular, worthy of its own release. A fitting addition to the rest of the music. BTW, go find "Esper Retirement Edition", specifically the first four discs, here on KZitem. Total of 4.5 HOURS of Blade Runner. Also, look for the Tegos Tapes, almost NINE HOURS of unreleased ambient music by Vangelis. There are still treasures out there to find...
