Vanilla Ice is a personal role model of mine. I ride a motorcycle because of him and the Terminator. I ride a cruiser for Arnold and a Kawasaki Ninja for my boy Vanilla. If it wasn't for the Album "Hard to Swallow" I probably wouldn't have been able to get through some horrible times I had in life. Thankfully my life isn't like that much anymore, more of a "Mind Blowin" and "Hot Sex" or "To The Extreme" most of the time. I love you Vanilla, never change bro.

"I'm not a white rapper by the way, I'm a rapper. You don't label music with colors, it's made for your ears, not your eyes." Preach, Ice! 👏 I have so much respect for this dude. Everyone tried to bring him down but in the end he came out on top and he's living his best life.

Rob, don't know if you'll ever even read this. But you survived some crazy stuff in the 90s and after yet, came out on top. We are of the same generation and when Ice Ice Baby came out, I was growing up in the northeast and every single one of my black, white and hispanic friends were blasting that song out of the woofers in their trunk like crazy. You were on fire and no one can deny or take that away from you! I'm glad to see where you've ended up and are happy in life with your family! In the end, that's all that really matters. God bless brother and keep the positive flowing! A friend from the 90s generation....

I was watching your video of ice ice baby. My girl is Asian . She 36 and she knew every single step that you and your dancer did. I didn’t even know she ever heard of you. I remember you telling the story about suge I’m from southie I worked for a southie crew who had to pay tributes to Whitey Bulger . I be so angry you could fry a egg on my head. We knew he was blowing the FBI and we didn’t want him to have the FBI in our business. Whitey reminded me of suge . A the gulf war broke out so it was my way to escape it. But you had to deal with that. I’m sorry man you are a excellent talent and great job on the mansions. Stay safe.

One thing that He said that hit home; I had a boss once that was spending a huge amount in his home and interior in a time where money wasn’t going around as easily. He said “when you’re poor living check to check where you gonna be? Home right?” I said yes that is true. He said “then that better be a palace, your sanctuary so it better be a place where you can be comfortable, proud and live in!” That always made sense.

The shear amount of people in this comment section that think they know about stuff that happened back in day is astounding. They all act like they where there and witnessed it all first hand. Stop acting like you know shit, unless you were there when shit went down. Vanilla Ice has no reason make shit up. He is doing well for himself and that is the primary reason why people diss on him jealousy. Work hard and stop blaming other people for your failures in life.

Vanilla Ice is an AWESOME DUDE and he's REAL and that's rare, esp during pop culture and the beginning of hip hop, which I love. I remember my friends and I would ride on the car doors, leaning on the car top going down 59 in Houston, jamming to Ice Ice Baby! It was an exceptional time in history, in my opinion! He's still gorgeous as he was back then, even more so now, plus more importantly, he's A TRUE BLUE MAN! VERY TALENTED! LOVE YOU VANILLA ICE‼️

I was a kid in Portugal when i bought his vinyl LP "To the extreme" and it was good from A to B sides and i played it every single day for months in my house till everybody else but me got sick of it. Only problem with the record was the sound was too effing low compared to every other record i had so we had to turn the volume to the max each time. DJ's had the same problem if they were playing ice ice baby from the LP.

The situation with hatred towards Rob during his skint as stardom had never occurred… Who knows what would’ve come of Eminem. Hip’ Hop industry learned from their mistakes to accept there’s no one type of music genre to only fit a particular race. Things happen for a reason. The same with Mark Wahlberg as Marky Mark. I think Rob, Mark and Marshal, are all great rappers in their own right with different styles. It’s a shame Rob and Mark not as successful as Eminem. It’s great to see Rob over came his depression during his darkest days and survived all he has been through, it’s such a cut-throat harsh industry most wouldn’t have survived if they experienced same as Rob had. God bless to Vanilla Ice and all he does.
