Vanpayar thoran/Red cow peas stir fry is an excellent side dish with kanji,rice etc.Here I post the authentic way of making this tasty and healthy dish.
Ingredients
Vanpayar/Red cow peas- 1 cup
Grated Coconut- ¼ cup
Onion- 1, medium, chopped
Garlic-5 pods, with skin
Green chilly- 2-3 chopped
Cumin seeds- a pinch
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Coconut oil- as required
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Salt- to taste
Dry red chillies-2 No’s
