I visited Varosha in 1980 when stationed at Nicosia. We had very limited access, granted by the Turks, probably just to show the UN they hadn't done anything to it. I had a very "odd" atmosphere about it.....mind you, the centre of Nicosia, along the Green Line was even more surreal, washing still on lines, plates on tables, houses and shops just abandoned to let nature reclaim them. I wonder what it looks like today.

I forgot to mention the feral animals in Nicosia, Cats quickly go wild and were everywhere, Dogs, being essentially pack animals, formed in to packs and lived in the derelict building and the buffer zone. The Canadians at Ledra Palace Hotel did foot patrols through the city and always carried a "Puppy Pounder" , a big stick to deter wild dogs.

I noticed sometimes his channels seem to overlap on topics, which isn't a bad thing. I just think if a topic is too big, he knows he'd be making a 40 minute video so it gives specific information relevant to each channel. I definitely don't mind that as I know the information is there, especially as I'm from the US and don't know much about it. But it is a bit amusing that certain topics feel like he's cramming them down our throats.
