if filming and photographing is totally allowed there, while at the same time there are signs forbidding to do so in other parts of Varosha?
@juleklub

Basically, you are allowed to film and take pictures everywhere on the marked trails. Exceptions are the areas where the Turkish military is present and the areas that are not accessible anyway. However, you will be informed accordingly if you are not allowed to take pictures or film.

Die Straße ist aber neu . Als ich das letzte mal auf Zypern war , war Varosha noch gesperrt . Ich konnte es nur von weitem besichtigen. Mittlerweile ist die Stadt aber wohl freigegeben. Wie man sieht .

Greece did ethnic cleansing of Turkish cypriots population. Turkey save Turkish cypriots by intervention. You should thankful to Turkey after Greek's cruelty on Turkish Cypriots still Turkey didn't capture whole Cyprus which is belongs to Turks. Ad for your information im not Turk. We know very well what you Greeks did in 47. So don't try to be over smart here with your Greeks propaganda.

@@amor8996 exactly because you are not Cypriot you don't know the story. I know the story from my parents and grandparents. Greece never did ethnic cleansing to no one. Greece was not in Cyprus in 1963 events. Therefore your statement is wrong. Second, in 1963 greekCypriote and turkishCypriots fought each other for 1 month and both have 300-400 deads. So no ethinc cleansing again. After 10 years turkey remember to make war to Cyprus and kill 6.000 greekCypriots, men, women, children and ethinc cleanse the north part of Cyprus because they forced 200.000 greekCypriots to leave from their homes till today. Also, Cyprus is Greek since 3.500 years ago. The ancient sites here are greek not turkish. So before you speak you must learn the history of Cyprus. I don't except a Pakistani guy to know my country history.

Oh dear what kind of brain do you have? Or have you? If you want to learn something about the cleansing some one you may read your Georgitsas plan. You may ask your Greek goverment and your older ones... If you want to learn something about cleansing you may learn something about your Greek terrorist organisations EOKA and EOKA-B, what ever you name it, but important point is these terrorist organisations were set up by officially Greece and Greek Cypriots! And if you want to learn about the last president of ex state you may learn something about Sampson... a terrorist! Let's look this terrorist At the time, Sampson was working as a journalist, and he would often photograph the bodies of his victims after killing them, then send the photographs to The Cyprus Times newspaper to be published. This Greece back terrorist leader became the last president of Cyprus Republic with the support of Greek army, Greece and Greek Cypriots! One side chosed the terror and the other side didn't!
