Ojalá hubiera vivido en su época, debería de ser maravilloso poder apreciar ese don en la danza. Que forma de desafiar las leyes de la gravedad. Simplemente impresionante.

Don’t think so, he left soviet in very young age. They used to collect papers on people. Not videos unfortunately

no ,if he had been filmed probabily his dancing would appair not so good if compared at todays standard, try to watch karsavina for ex ,no serious reason that he would appair so different .surely was great at his time ,diaghilev not permitting that he has been filmed did a great marketing operation.his legend is greatest than ever

You are wrong. In christiancomte: Les Ballets Russes de Nijinsky there are short clips of dances of Nijinsky. Even from those partly very short clips we can see that he was better ballet dancer and dance performer than anyone after him, much more great than Nurejev. There is also allmost whole Faune but sadly too few steps of Spectre de la Rose.

You cannot compare Karsarvina with Nijinsky, two completely different artists, you have to remember the skill of his choreography is a testament to his greatness, there are witness accounts of people from all walks of life including other ballet dancers who knew what they were seeing was exceptional.

@@juliefaulkner5497 infact ,legends have their reasons to be making people to dream .have a look here on you tube to theodore koslov he was collegue of nijinsky in bellet rousses and often alternative cast in nijinsky's roles this video shows koslov doing also some solos if also nijinsky would have been good the double would have been equally not comparable with todays levels .have a look theodore koslov that later had a seccond carrer in hollywood
