VERY IMPORTANT thing you may of forgot to say is BEFORE you take it for a drive you MUST pump the brake pedal to make sure calliper piston pushes up against the new pads, I know of someone who forgot to do this, all nice new brake pads but the car was a right off lol

Smart to just take off one bolt instead of both!. Although it's better to use the right tool for pressing the piston back in the caliper cause it should rotate at the same time as it push, so you don't get the problem with harsh caliper and brakepads that rests on the disc.

@@aaanton11 Thanks to you too! It might take a while before it shows but if you do it regulary it might end up in the annoying problem with warm rims thats caused by a harsh caliper that doesnt let the piston moves smoothly and move back as it should. Think the tool cost around 15 -20 dollar. Great video anyhow! will helps a lot of people!

You do not need to turn the piston as you press it in at all- thats only on rears on cars with rear disc brakes for the handbrake.

Hi. I have just changed my wheel bearings, hubs and abs sensors but for some reason my brake pedal feels rock hard and unsafe to drive. Is that because of the bearings or because of the pads and brake disc. Also abs sensor has come on and took it to Kwik fit to double check my work but all of a sudden they don't deal with abs and didn't even check my work even though they would. Also how does pushing the piston back on brake section helps with the pads. Sorry about all questions but don't want to and can't afford to splash out hundreds of pounds for a mechanic to change the stuff I just done even though bearings hub r brand new. They said they would have to charge me for all new parts. Cheers so much in advance if someone answers. 😊
