Wow! It looks great and sounds brilliant Jamie! I love the Canadian quad headlamps. The BOP (Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac) engine that became the Rover V8 was a natural for the Viva GT. What a great car. Love it!

Wow couldnt believe it that was my car back in the early 80s . I did think it would survive i had 3 viva hbs and that was by far the most solid and rust free. Sounds great when i got it it had an 1800 slant engine i upgraded to 2.3 but you have gone next level. If your interested i have some old photos . Alan

Alan, i believe your name has popped up in conversation with a couple of people in the past, as i recall hearing about the owner having a few HB's. The engine swap ect wasn't carried out by myself, but actually done by a chap called Simon i believe and he also commented on the video as well. I've done a few alterations since i've had the car and some modifications. My aim was to make a GT to how i think it should've been out of the factory and to be honest.. i think it's nearly spot on. I'd really appreciate any pictures you have and could you please send them too jamezzz666@hotmail.com Thanks James

A nice 😊 👍 👌 looking 👀 old car 🚙. Very good 👍 condition. Strong 💪 condition is because it’s well looked after everyday. Could survive in 2030 to be aged 60 years old. 👍

Thanks Simon! Same exhaust system, except the tips was changed for rolled stainless ones. The rest of the the exhaust, had the rust wire brushed from it and then a lick of silver paint. I don't think there's a day, in which my dad hasn't worn his white long coat haha. Guy said you may be going to the Vauxhall meet in may? I'm going to attempt it, albeit there isn't any issues with the viva.

@J. Jordan well young man, I hope he shows us more of his skills for many years to come. My first car was a Viva HC and my dad and I constantly worked together on it.....along with his VX490. I'm now the same age as my dad was when I lost him.....55 and treasure him and his camerawork ❤️👍❤️
