Method:
FOR INGREDIENTS PLEASE CHECK THE VIDEO*
1. Soak the dals and red chilli for 1.5-2 hours. Drain the water and take it into blender and add turmeric powder, salt to taste, and hing. Then grind it into a course paste.
2. In the meantime, take the banana flower and cut it into pieces. Boil and drain the water and keep it aside. Now take the kadai, heat oil add mustard seeds and once it sputters add urad dal, and mix the urad dal until it becomes golden pink. Add the ground paste. Mix the paste until the water evaporates and becomes scrambled.
3. Keep stirring the dal in between. Now add the cooked banana flower and mix well.
4. Now the Vazahaipoo Paruppu Usili is ready to serve!
