വെണ്ടക്ക പച്ചടി | വെണ്ടക്ക കിച്ചടി | Sadya Special Pachadi Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
Lady’s finger- 15 to 20 nos
Coconut oil- for frying lady’s fingers
Curd - 1 cup
Salt to taste
For grinding:
Coconut grated - 4 tablespoons
Green chillies- 1 to 3 nos
Mustard seeds- 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin seeds- 1/4 teaspoon
For seasoning:
Coconut oil- 1 tablespoon
Mustard seeds- 1/4 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds- 6 nos
Dried red chilly- 3 nos
Curry leaves
PREPARATION:
1. Marinate the small cut lady’s finger pieces with some salt and a bit of turmeric powder for about 10 minutes.
2. Fry the pieces on low- medium flame till it becomes crisp and golden brown colour.
3. Grind the grated coconut, cumin seeds , mustard seeds and green chillies into a smooth paste by adding some water.
4. Take a kadai, pour the coconut oil.
5. To the hot oil, splutter mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and dried red chillies along with curry leaves.
6. Add the ground coconut paste and bring it to a boil.
7. Turn off the flame and add the curd and mix well.
8. Put some salt to taste
9. Add the fried lady’s finger pieces into it and mix well.
Vendakka pachadi is ready !!
