Man, that engine bay is pretty clean for a hard working van! These are pretty rare in this shape now. Love this big beast!

A nice vid about the van and showing all the patina (ed) bits which all adds to the character of said vehicle. It must be getting rare now for it's age. 👍🤔. Thanks for uploading.

I used to have a 35-08. I had it for 12 years. Then the rust got too bad and she had to go. She was 4 years old (1995 on an N plate) when I bought her in 1999 and I got rid of her in 2011. She was red inside being ex Royal Mail, but the dealer I bought it from would paint them all white before selling them on. Check the bulkhead around the clutch cable. Its thin, and I ended up pulling the clutch cable through.

Some say IVECO. It Vibrates Everything Comes Off. But having worked for a dealer in the early 2000`s, I learned they're bloody good vans! Far better than crappy Transits or anything else as Transits VW`s etc are well f****d after about 150k miles. These come back for more and I`ve regularly seen 200k on IVECO`s when traded in. As a side note, the Long Wheelbase models handle like they're on rails!!! Great fun to throw around when empty!!!

My mate has the later model of this (2004) and had exactly the same exhaust failure mode but the silencer completely separated from the pipe and dropped down......using crap we found in the back (coke can, some electrical cable and a pair of mole grips from the tool box) we managed to limp it home :-) His is a LWB crew cab and it exited about 2ft forward of the rear wheels. His van has done about 200k miles now and still going strong!

Thank you for the Twilight Hour. The Twilight Show? The Twilight Zone? I really enjoyed that, and having had my share of cars with loose gear levers (1st and 2nd only to be engaged if you were on good terms with the front seat passenger), I was fascinated by the professional tip on how to fix that problem.
