“Oh wait I thought I was out of snacks, but I’m not” is the most relatable thing Flawless has ever said. I felt that in my soul. I too am excited about remembering I have snacks.

The music for the admiral showing up? Perfection! It felt like watching Silverhawks again. 80s like music is my default background music for my Spelljammer campaign. The Zartan voice reminded me of GI Joe too. So much awesome in this stream each episode

So I know Theo and Isaiah are well traveled monster hunters, but I thought the lore was lost people in Faerun know nothing of Spelljamming and the Astral Sea except like basic academic stuff that it exists. How would Isaiah know about Plasmoids and atmosphere problems? I would really like to see the adventures from Level 1 to 10 for both these guys. Must be wild!

Having 10 levels of the past gives us all the room to improv, simple as that. And when things arise, it's fun to go back and visit that moment in time via flashback or maybe even a sidequest past one shot.

*have not finished the episode yet, but* insert Leo DiCap meme pointing at the tv, internally screaming “why are you guys wasting that double nat 20?! That was quite clearly a deity (or messenger for deity) trying to commune with y’all and I’m assuming since the fake mordy and other 2 wizards in sigil were trying to teleport y’all (w/o consent) back to give them the Rod, that whoever this unicorn/arch fey was they wanted to try to stop y’all from giving the Rod to the fake wizard(s)!!! Yikes cmon guys don’t throw away nat 20’s! Also, one little possible bit of maybe like critique for Q, and I mean no offense, but you should really think about backing off the “Ted’s protector” aspect just a smidge. Understand the dynamic you’re attempting to portray but a lot of the time it more so reads like you’re taking away from Ted’s agency. He’s a grown man, and a level 11-12 wizard, he can handle himself for the most part. Again no offense, but it’s kinda smothering the character of Ted a bit 🤷♂️ That’s all!

Appreciate the critique. I can say that Ted and I have talked at length about Isaiah and Theo’s relationship. There is zero agency being taken away. A clear example is when Theo went into the room with Tasha - considering Isaiah went into a room in the same place with Mordenkainen & it turned out to be a PROBLEM™️, it would have been VERY appropriate for Isaiah to follow… but OMEGA recognized it was an important moment for Ted’s character and so I did not & that was even mentioned in that moment. The only other time in this episode that really showcased Isaiah and Theo’s relationship is when Theo decided to study the rod & went catatonic. Since it was established that we all were basically in our common area, it was clear that we all were witnessing the goings on of the group. If someone believes Isaiah would just casually watch the literal anchor of his humanity suddenly go catatonic while holding a piece of a rod that KAS has asked them to get to deal with VECNA & do nothing about it when he’s literally feet away from him… I’m sorry but that’s just not it. With that all being said - it all comes back to… conversations are happening daily and one would never seek to take away someone’s agency. That has not happened and it shall not. It is absolutely acceptable if folks don’t get their dynamic yet… but things are as they are for a reason and, as the game continues, you will learn why.

Yup, gonna follow up on what Q said. While I do appreciate the sentiment, it's not really stepping on me or Theodore's moments, at least so far. If it ever gets to thst point, either myself or Thedore will speak up. And it also has the potential to lead to some pretty meaningful roleplay moments when it does. Trust that Q and I are in constant communication outside the game, workshopping backstory stuff and coming up with different scenarios we want to see played out during the game

They didn't "throw away" those Nat20s, They, the characters, were forced into a scene where Communing was possible. I would NEVER make them do it. That's the Agency you see on display. You'll understand why Theo was hesitant as the story develops ;) And as far as Q & Ted, they are in constant conversation in private more than any other pair in this game. Don't worry, they know what they're doing.

@@NerdImmersion True but my comment was on Isaiah. Theo I would expect to have academic and some practical knowledge as a Strixhaven Wizard, to recognize a planewalker, know a bunch about the multiverse, etc. But I would love to see what Isaiah went through to no so much. It’s part of what makes him so badass

@@QR0WNTV I think you missed the point of my comment. I’m not doubting he knew it, I really like your character in Isaiah and want more. I want to see where and how it learned it. I haven’t really had that interest for the other characters, but Isaiah really has burrowed into my head
