Norway in the 90's was very fruitful and fertile ground for some of the best black metal ever created. Ved Buens Ende was a "supergroup" of sorts, though not a prolific project, that created some of the most mind warping and genre re-defining metal that has yet to be witnessed. Carl-Michael Eide, Vicotnik and Skoll were the power trio behind this band, who's collective resumes feature some of your favorite Norwegian bands over the years, but with VBE, crafted jazz and experimental elements together with that organic Northern blackness we all know and love, to create something truly avant-garde and magical. How did the Metallurgists process something so out in left field? Join in the conversation to find out!
