Vegan Fried Sweet Plantains aka Platanos Maduros

I'm also in the process of creating my own simple and easy to follow beginner friendly vegan cookbook. This cookbook will include simple recipes, replicating some of your favorite foods you are used to eating but veganized (yes, I said veganzied lol). Once again I want to thank EVERYONE who has supported me so far!!!!
Ingredients:
Ripe Plantains
1 TBPS of Vegan Butter
Grape Seed Oil for frying
Maple Syrup (this is optional)
What to do:
Peel and cut plantains.
Add grape seed oil to skillet and turn burner on medium high heat.
Melt 1 TBPS of vegan butter in skillet with grape seed oil.
Add plantains to skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Turn burner down between low to medium low and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.. make sure you consistently flip to avoid burning.
You can also add 2 small drops of maple syrup. (This is optional)
After about 5 minutes check to see if plantains are done, if not cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Flipping on both sides to avoid burning.
Once done, take out of oil and place on a plate for cooling. Only allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with a little salt and serve.
