Nice DIY job and even better solution for a vehicle rig.

Excellent work Ronnie! I’ll take one, you up for building me one as I can have the parts drop shipped to you, JK! Seriously, I’m going to go with the same thing on my Pioneer as opposed to hand scanning. Thanks for the info! Again, excellent job especially being transparent with all your loyal fans!!!

Nice video... can I offer a tip? Use a step drill on plastic.. it won't bite like spade bits and normal twist drills... it'll give you a cleaner hole...

Yeah, my choice wasn't the best there! Found out the hard way 😂 but had to cut it from the video because it got too long already.

ive been looking at doing a build like this for a boat. Im currious about color pallets and any screen adjustments you are able to mess with. cant help but wonder if a guy could adapt it into a fishfinder screen. that would be amazing.
@TexasJAGD

Camera itself doesn't have any adjustments. Brightness and contrast would have to happen via the display.

If the new one strips gear again, maybe try mounting the camera cord to the top portion of the housing and using an external coiled type wire.

Have you had any problems with the module itself? I have a 9v power source and worked great for possibly 60-100hrs of run time now suddenly losing signal.

@@TexasJAGD yeah I was paying attention to the clarity and the range it covers and that does everything most folks want. It looks like you can at least see 200 yards and what’s going on within 200 yards and that’s good enough
@TexasJAGD
3 жыл бұрын
From experience, you can see further out. You can detect to at least 400-500 yards depending on weather conditions. Where the 384 falls short is being able to recognize out to this distance. But that's where you just pull up your rifle mounted thermal to confirm.
