So you get a phone call. You Answer and its the vehicle warranty department offering you an extended warranty on your vehicle. Or you check your mail and get that pink letter from SAP Service Agreement Program.
These are all scams and phishing attempts to get your information. They have no idea what vehicles you own. That is why it is worded the way it is. "The warranty is about to expire on YOUR VEHICLE" It doesn't state any year make or model. It also asks for your VIN and again because they do not have any information on you.
If you were to give them information and you do fall victim and buy one it covers absolutely nothing. Which is why it states that the vehicle must be no more than 10 years old and less than 100,000 miles. If you want an extended warranty for your vehicle contact the dealer where you bought it and buy and manufacturer extended warranty and at a cheaper cost.
Best thing to so is throw the letter away or hang up the call. Or mess with them on the phone just dont give them your real information.
It says to opt out go to their site or call the number. But guess what. In order to do so it asks you to input all the information they were phishing for. So just ignore them.
Love you all
