The musicianship to pull that off is really incredible, they blended the older style guitar so perfectly with the heavy and that little solo towards the ends was 1000% Maiden inspired. This is so amazing!

On first listen, this song actually caught me off guard because it definitely has a poppier feel to it. That said, after multiple listens I cannot get enough of this song. This is how you incorporate heavy pop elements into metalcore the right way. The chorus is unbelievably catchy and then that iron maiden riff straight into a sick veil of Maya breakdown was incredible

Admittedly, such a big fan of the Eclipse era of VoM but they've consistently continued to impress me with their incorporation of progressive metalcore. This track is such a multi-phased track and really doesn't sound nearly as "generic" as certain things on False Idol and even Matriarch. This shit's tasty. Continuing to prove they're one of the best in djent and making no apologies about it. So many clear influences here!

As much as I love this band and always will, this music is so far from the veil of Maya that I fell in love with so long ago. It kind of makes me sad. I remember hanging out with mark and buying him a beer talking talking before his set, now look at him. What an amazing journey it's an amazing journey it has been to see this band grow.
