@@TibiConstantine It did....I loved first half of the first movie...but then it got worse for me....with the third movie, you are asking about, being possibly the worst...overall I was disappointed but I still enjoy parts of the trilogy and watch it sometimes. The whole hobbit project was very rushed and staffed with unnecessary or outright bad additions forced by studio execs and whatnot. I disliked CGI (felt like MMO RPG), the love triangle, junkie Radegast, Azog design, Smaug's end and orc design as well as "handsome dwarves" who are just short men. I really liked Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug and Lee Pace as Thranduil (sirs Ian McKellen and Christopher Lee were always going to be a win) and of course great Andy Serkis as a Gollum. There are many scenes which are amazing but there are also those at which I cringe :D It should have been just the 2 movies IMO. Gotta give credit where it’s due: the Trojan War did start (at least according to legend) because a goddess offered Paris if he chose her in the Judgement of Paris between her Athena, and Hera. His reward for choosing her was marriage to the most beautiful woman in the world (I.e. Aphrodite ranked who the most beautiful woman was). Facebook was started Mark Zuckerberg as a way for Harvard students to compare and rank which girls were hotter on campus. This was a well-researched joke (whether it’s funny or not - that’s another thing).

The one positive thing I can see about this show is that it eliminates any doubt or plausible deniability, that there are paid shills who praise shows regardless of how awful they are. Despite it's 1.3 IMDB rating there are still some who have given it 10 stars. Or on Rotten Tomatoes its 6% audience score is paired with a ~50% critics rating. I mean, fair enough, not every one is going to give it one star. You might feel that the animation deserves an extra star. Perhaps you think some of the voice acting is pretty good. Or, maybe, you even think some of the jokes are funny. But 10/10?!? In fact 10 has the second highest percentage. Like anyone is going to believe that you think it is on par with "Dr. Strangelove" or "The Office". If they want to be believed they could at least rate it 6-8 instead of 10

7:02 This is a real moment and not taking that from you and everything you said is valid. I do want to add that though you're self consciousness of hair loss could derive from the social pressure of having hair. Not saying this is perpetuated by men or women alone but general modern society. Balding for any gender is a very sensitive situation and there's an industry build on this insecurity much like how make up, synthetic hair/extensions/wigs, accessories, nails, etc. are pushed on women (and recent years men too). Both men and women are not allowed to age in modern society or have physical differences/deviations because there's a standard and these standards influence people's body image. To add, the woman asking if you have cancer because of your choice of style/wearing a hat is rude and insincere af. Tactless and based on human ignorance and also says a lot of the standard. If you have a shaved head wearing a cap it's not seen as a normal choice or something someone would want to do (because of the standard) and the association is terminal/chronic sickness. Modern society is in big trouble and it's not one side to blame but equal parts like a vicious cycle. To further add the topic at hand into this, the show lacks any depth or nuance to understand that (and a lot of problems marginalized and neuro/physical divergent people go through are societal issues as a whole) so a lot of it's garbage is performative to try to "win woke points" while simultaneously mock it. Learning the creator is conservative put a lot of missing pieces in place for me personally and explains the mean spirited venomous tone-deafness of everything it has to say. Like conservatives they make up scenarios to strengthen their own bad takes and a lot of Mindy's, opps-I mean Velma's "jokes" are that. 8:47 Wtf I...what is going on in this dialogue. Does...'every little kid' know how to draw a penis? Am I too old to realize this is a thing now or so severely out of touch that is always was? I have never in my life heard this. Why is this show so obsessed with genitalia...reminds me of a group of people with the same problem tbh

Dude I've been where you're at - you've lost your hairline. A person's hairline is integral to the shape of their face - everything is thrown off without it and it also conveys power. Losing your hair is a bummer but the thing that ruins your appearance is losing the framing device for your face. So here's what you do - go buy one. Get Scalp Micropigmentation. It's basically a light level of tattooing on your head and it creates a hairline. It looks awesome especially if you have a good look for it and you definitely do. I got it done several years ago and was amazed at how much better it made me look and feel. I was so self conscious of my appearance before I got it done. I was balding which was killing me so I got a hair transplant and made it a million times worse. The trauma of the transplant knocked out most of my thinning hair and left bad scarring and the plugs looked like shit so it was a mess. Hats 24/7. Women - don't get me started. It sucked on a billion levels. I needed to shave my head but the problem was the scars - a giant one across the back of my head and clusters of reddish brown dots on top of my head. It was a freaking disaster and I was in a dark place. Anyway I got the micopigmentation done. They did it over the scar on the back of my head - I had not even considered that and they suggested it - and made it almost disappear visually. The scars on top of my head were barely noticeable and the hairline added to my face made me look so much better it was unreal. My confidence skyrocketed and I was delirious with relief/happiness for maybe 2 straight years. Oh the hedonism that ensued but on a deeper level I could finally walk out the door and feel good about how I looked. It's corny to say but it changed my life. So suffice it to say - get it tf done lol. I'm not shilling for any company I'm just a dude who's been there and thinks it could help you. Enjoy your content man - keep it rollin! Best wishes from Philly 🤘🏼🦅

The Trojan war did start with Helene of Sparta willingly going to Troy with Alexander ("Paris"; it is called a "kidnapping" since from a Greek perspective, Menelaos' "property" was "stolen"), but the prelude of the war started at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis (Achilles' parents) where the goddess Eris, who was not invited, threw a golden apple to where Aphrodite, Athena and Hera sat and told that the apple was "for the most beautiful". Alexander was to be the judge to decide who the hottest goddess was and he chose Aphrodite because he liked her bribe the most (marrying the hottest mortal, i.e. Helene.

@@CooperDooper38 I shaved my head when I was 23, trust me that the before it's far from difficult than the after. Being able to accept it and having the courage to shave it all off, but once you do it you feel a lot better, and I only got positive feedbacks about by bald head. Take your time but realize you are not your hair, you'll live just as well without it

Actually Troy DID START WITH LITERALLY RATING HOT GIRLS!! The guy who got with Helen of Troy, Paris, was first asked to judge who was the most beautiful of Hera, Aphrodite and Athena. He couldn’t decide so Aphrodite offered him the most beautiful girl in the world. He chose her, but the gift was a trap because he had dared hesitate before choosing Aphrodite. She knew that Helen’s husband would cause Paris worlds of trouble.
