thanks. to make a long story short, because restorative composite have the best overall poperties (mechanical, shade stability especially) and because it is the most friendly to use (viscosity). Otherwise, it simplifies the life of your nurse, as you only have one product for all adhésive indications ;-)

Hi! Great vid as always. Why do you use restorative composite instead of bonding like variolink,panavia etc..?

Nice work! Do you have any tips on inyra-oral microetching/sandblasting system? I am looking for something less messy than my current one.

i use the same technique with flowable compsite i wonder if preheates restorative composite is a better choice?

Due to higher viscosity preheated composite would make excess removal much easier, flowable could provide higher bond strength however..

Thank you for the reply! I´t is always a lot of inspiring tips in your videos and I usually try them out. My nurse gets a bit confused every time I come up with something new :) Are there any studies on the cementation with composite? I have never heard of it and can´t seem to google anything about it. Ha fun cementing and all videos are appreciated! /Dentist from Sweden

is etchng bonding required for both zircon/emax veneers?
@davidgerdolle
7 жыл бұрын
usman khalek I wouldn't recommend Zirconia for veneers...glass ceramics only are suitable for veneers in my opinion. And glass ceramic has to be etched with HF acid yes

so you recommend Etching & bonding in Emax veneers?
@davidgerdolle

usman khalek I am using 90% feldspathic ceramic and the rest disilicate yes. Both are etchable and have to be etched indeed

thanks for replying, one more question perhaps, how to do you prepare tooth surface?
@davidgerdolle
7 жыл бұрын
For tooth surface: sandblasting 30 microns, enamel etching, silane if existing composite on the tooth, hydrophobic bonding (uncured),luring composite

I don’t think nerve shattering music goes well with this process.

I am using the classical Cojet Device from 3M for the sandblasting. highly messy but works fine...
