So many workers standing around. These people had over a month to pack their shit and get going. Now all the workers should do is check each tent/camp for any animals in there, get them out and bring in bulldozers and scoop it all up. It should all be considered abandoned and thrown away. I know they need to look for needles and other stuff, but just imagine what's in that sand now. Just do it and get it over with then patrol night and day. Don't let it start up again. In my opinion the problem is not only the housing, but to keep in housing is take the ingrained homeless attitude that the law protects and they do not care if I litter, shit, possibly on the owners property or anybody else, they take advantage every chance they can and put the blame on the officials, they also figure we the people are obligated to them for them being on streets, delusional but not crazy thinking!

You get the beach back when it gets real. It gets real when they post a 24 hour warning that contractors will be removing everything w/o hesitation from point A to point B between say 8pm and 4am every evening till it's done. Cops will be standing by to keep the peace, and take complaints. However they will not stop the clean up process. And due to the darkness, and anything left on the beach after dark being considered as litter there will be no inventories. And on the flip side, less time and logistics will lead to saving money that can be used to help those who want help. Funny is watching those people with cameras, and presumably money film this. Then paying heavy taxes so those guys can sift through trash as though they were doing work on a newly discovered kings tomb.

I agree with you. Most of those homeless people probably lost their jobs due to the covid 19 and weren't able to pay the rent or mortgage and have lost their homes. I am sure no one wanted to be home less. That could have been me or you . Stop and think about if it had been you. How would you feel ? Some one needs to have a caring heart for those people. Once they reach a certain point where the bulk of the junk has been picked up, they really should bring in a tractor with a scoop attachment.
