Dear chef i lost my mom who was an amazing cook recently. I couldn't learn any of her cooking. However I remembered that she always used to comment that you have her exact cooking style... So I started watching your recipe. Just started with paruppu podi, idli podi, mor kuzhambu and stuff... Felt like eating her cooking again. Thanks for bringing my mom's cooking back to me.

In Karnataka we prepare this grinding aval Kora Kora n we soak all these ingredients in tamarind pulp for 10 to 15 minutes n then we prepare hoggarane n add all these things

Almost looks like gojju avalakki but the process of making is little different in karnataka. Very tasty recipe😋
Aval kulainduvitadhu. Actually aval two times கழுவிட்டு, அவல் மூழ்கும் அளவுக்கு ordinary water ஊற்றி ஊற வைத்தால் போதும். சுடு தண்ணி ஊற்றினால் குளைந்துவிடும். Getti aval kooda nalla ஊரிவிடும் 20mins la.
